For someone who has been digging for obscure records, books and movies since his memory can remember, Simone de Kunovich still transmits the enthusiasm of the beginner.

In the past decade he’s managed to travel the globe far and wide, always on a hunt for blind rarities for his label and Youtube channel Ultimo Tango or playing shows in iconic clubs between London, Tokyo, Paris, New York or his home Milan.

His vast multi-disciplinary knowledge has made him an acclaimed tastemaker, who moves at the crossroads between cinema, music and design, always with a sharp taste for the unconventional.

Glimpses of this intense and vast research can be heard in his studio projects, from his last EP on Public Possession, inspired by Y2K dance music and fantasy table games, to the “Mondo Nuovo” trilogy on Mulemusiq, influenced by 70s Exploitation movies and early electronics.

Disco, House, Italo-Disco and Electronic Purity, that’s what Jay Luna exudes every time he takes the lead in a set or when it comes to producing.

Jay is a DJ and producer, born in Malaga (Spain) and if anything has defined his career has been the more than ten years he has spent in London fully immersed in its club culture and his passion for vinyl sets to which today he continues to devote much of his time.

During his stay in England, Jay had the privilege of playing in several really important clubs in the British capital, as well as in exclusive private parties. His love for vinyl music intensified as he collected records he discovered in various corners of the city. This British influence is reflected in his sets, which are characterized by a careful selection of vinyl imported from the UK.

It is then when Jay moves to Malaga with two clear objectives, the first one being to share his passion for danceable rhythms and enveloping melodies with the Malaga public. Jay Luna has become a reference in the local scene, attracting an enthusiastic fan base with his infectious energy and unique style.

The second, creating Nuvola, the most famous disco party in the province which, less than a year old, is already recognized throughout the Costa del Sol for its committed community, line-ups and vibrant atmosphere.

With Nuvola, Jay has managed to bring together disco and house music lovers in a super energetic and welcoming atmosphere, where music and club culture merge to create a unique experience in Malaga. Malaga is Disco” is already a continuous slogan that can be heard at every Nuvola party.
