Ágata’s journey traces back to 2021, when it first emerged as a visionary concept at Mijas Beach, transforming Sunday afternoons and evenings into an essential experience. With over 25 events to its name, Ágata swiftly cemented its reputation as a cornerstone in the electronic music landscape.

Over the course of its evolution, Ágata has had the privilege of hosting a distinguished roster of artists from the electronic music scene, including EDE, Marino Canal, Aera, Santiago Garcia, Parra For Cuva, Alvaro Suarez, Argia, Samer Soltan, Aldebaran, Javi Redondo, Edu Imbernon, Upercent, Kid Simius, Carlo, Rakim Under, Shivas Regal, and many others.

In this new chapter, Ágata unveils a cutting-edge, dynamic artistic vision infused with fresh, contemporary sounds, reflecting the ever-evolving alternative music scene. Its progression underscores a steadfast commitment to innovation and avant-garde expression, solidifying Ágata’s status as a defining presence within Málaga and the Costa del Sol’s musical realm.

Now, a year later, Ágata reemerges with renewed vigor, bringing its unique offering to one of the most iconic venues in Málaga and the Costa del Sol: El Balneario de los Baños del Carmen.

Venue

Ágata finds the ideal setting for its unique musical concept at El Balneario de los Baños del Carmen. This historic venue, inaugurated in 1918, was a symbol of luxury and sophistication throughout much of the 20th century, attracting an exclusive clientele with its elegant design and seaside location. Although the spa experienced a decline in the 1980s, its recent restoration has revived its original splendor, blending historical elegance with modern adaptations.

El Balneario not only provides a distinctive architectural backdrop and spectacular views but also an ambiance that enriches every event.
